In a split second

Croak! The frogs were croaking continuously while she hurried through the darkness managing her dupatta, paper bag and umbrella.

Every once in a while she looked back to check if someone was following.

Vroom! The Ambassador that brushed past splashed muddy water on her clothes.

Splash! She stepped into a pothole and fell on her face.

Crash! The medicine bottles hit the ground.

She somehow managed to stand up on her own and started walking fast again.

Woof! She was startled by the neighborhood dog.

She bangs open the door only to find him lying on the floor bleeding profusely.

  1. Loved the craft of combining both these prompts into one post.

Although it must be said that this post is intriguing in that it makes me wonder what happened in the first place that he was on the floor bleeding. Maybe you can write a prequel post to this as well.
